Mary Davidson

Mary L. Davidson, age 75, a 50-year resident of Royal Oak, died October 3, 2009 at St. John Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights. She was born May 4, 1934 in Cove Creek, NC. Mrs. Davidson was a retired waitress from the Old Port Inn and previously worked at the IHOP in Royal Oak. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader and loved to brag about her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Lee Lovell Byars and Tracy Davidson; sisters, Jeanne Isaacs and Judy Witten; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Davidson, in 2006; daughters, Linda Byars and Shiela Joyce Byars; and brother, Robert L. Isaacs. The visitation will be Wednesday 2-8 p.m. and the service Thursday 11 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev.
