Mary Cazara

Mary E. Cazara, age 86, a resident of Madison Heights, died July 11, 2011 at Cambridge North Healthcare Center in Clawson. She was born May 29, 1925 in Detroit to the late James and Cecelia Woodgate. Ms. Cazara lived in Madison Heights from 1962-2005. She was employed as a bookkeeper for A & P Company and N. D. Industries. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and aunt. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing. She is survived by her children, Gregory Anne Cazara of Shelby Township and Diana Gerald Carpenter of Berkley; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. The visitation will be Thursday 12-8 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Ms. Cazara will lie in state Friday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Madison Heights. The burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
