Mary Biafora

Mary M. Biafora, age 83 of Troy, passed away April 5, 2012. Beloved wife of 58 yrs. of the late Louis Biafora. Dear mother of Mary Smith, Cathleen Motta, Matthew Connie Biafora, Claire Andrzej Sleboda, Beth Biafora, Claudia Hall, and Veronica Greg Lee. Loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Charles Foley, Veronica John Lewis, Carolyn Walker, Michael Rose Foley, Bernard Sharon Foley and the late Elizabeth Foley and Suzanne Howard. Mary was born in Indiana and grew up to become a homemaker in California, New York and Michigan. She enjoyed decorating and shopping; then used those skills to manage a Troy Bath Shop after her children were grown. Summer was her favorite season when she would find pleasure in her yard, setting out several bird feeders and watching her flowers bloom. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 54045 Schoenherr N. of 24 Mile Rd., Shelby Twp. on Thursday, April 12, where friends may visit at church from 9:30 am until 10:00 am time of Mass. Inurnment will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery. A Family Gathering to honor Mary's life will follow the inurnment at Best Western Sterling Inn, 34911 Van Dyke at 15 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights. Funeral arrangements by Wm.
