Mary Ainsworth

Mary Jean Ainsworth, age 81, of Ferndale, died June 8, 2009 at Woodward Hills Nursing Center in Bloomfield Hills. She was born December 12, 1927 in Ferndale. Miss Ainsworth was a retired secretary from General Motors. She was also a longtime member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Royal Oak. She is survived by her siblings, Alice Thatcher of Ferndale and Lawrence Dorothy Ainsworth of Royal Oak. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allan and Clara Ainsworth. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 7 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church in Royal Oak, with the Rev. Linda Northcraft officiating.
