Martin T. Woebbeking passed away on September 18, 2008 at his home in Harrison Twp. He was born September 29, 1929 to Elsie and Martin H. Woebbeking in Detroit. He is survived by his loving wife , Wilmary nee Romick , son, Mark H. Robin and daughter, Marci L. Michael Yarrington and grandchilden Jessica, Amanda and Michael, his sister, Lois Kenneth Harder and many nieces and nephews. He graduated from Mt. Clemens High School and attended East Michigan University. He was employed by Turner Brooks Inc. where he supervised the ceiling department. He cherished his friends Eldred and Mary Rushton and Robert and Beverly Dueweke. He will be missed by all the friends that he made while dancing, camping, motorcycling, golfing, boating and skiing. He loved making things and built his three homes. He loved electronic gadgets-cameras, music, and computers. He called his basement his machine shop. He enjoyed skiing on many slopes out West. His travels took him to most of the United States including Hawaii and Alaska. He has toured the Baltic Countries via the Danube River and Russia from St. Petersburg to Moscow via the Volga River and other rivers. He toured China and Peru and the Amazon River. He has been on several cruises. He also had a pilots license for small aircraft. A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008, 2:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road three blocks E. of Van Dyke Utica. Officiating will be Pastor Bert A. Thompson. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, 116 Davis Street, P.O. Box 13, Harrietta, MI 49638 or to St. Luke Lutheran Church, 21400 S. Nunneley, Clinton Twp., MI 48035
