Martha Jasso

Martha S. Shornak Jasso, age 70, of Fenton, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at her home. She was born April 26, 1938. Mrs. Jasso was born in Birmingham, and then lived in Hazel Park, Royal Oak, Florida and California. She was also a collector of Lladro, antique perfume bottles, Dept. 56 Christmas Village, Christopher Radko Christmas globes and Depression glass. She is survived by her husband, Joseph B. Jasso, whom she married on June 30, 1956; daughter, Cheryl Evans Gianakos of Clarkston; siblings, Vicki Clark, Daniel M. Shornak and Edward Shornak, all of Hazel Park; and grandchildren, Angela, Nichole, Stacey and Joseph. She was preceded in death by her children, Joseph D. Jasso and Cynthia T. Jasso. A memorial mass will be held Tuesday 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide Street, Fenton, MI 48430. Inurnment will be at East Lawn Cemetery in Lake Orion.
