Marlene Merchant

Marlene L. Merchant, age 80, passed away with her family by her side on March 14, 2013, at the Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe. She was a lifelong resident of Shelby Township. She is survived by her niece, Sheree Jason London of Bad Axe, Michigan , her nephew, Bill Bracken Sr. of California, her brothers, Hiller Hibbard of Sun City, Arizona and Jim Hibbard of Oreland, Florida, also survived by many friends in Huron County and all the family in California. She is predeceased by her husband, Henry Merchant. She was a Veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of the UAW. Services will be Monday 1:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. 3 blks e. of Van Dyke Utica. Visitation will be Monday 11:00 a.m. until time of Service at 1:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Veterans of America.
