Mark David Nichols, a resident of Bloomfield, MI, passed away after a long courageous battle with an illness on April 3, 2011 at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac. He was born on May 30, 1960, Memorial Day, in New London, CT. He is survived by his wife, Karen Nichols, daughters, Victoria and Catherine Nichols, mother, Anna Pennacchini, father, Ralph Nichols, brother, Ralph Pennacchini, and sisters, Allison and Christina Nichols. Prior to his illness, Mark was a dynamic speaker, instructor, salesman, as well as President of the Ralph Nichols Corp. for Dale Carnegie Training, and eventually owner of his own franchise in Los Angeles, CA. A Memorial visitation is scheduled for Thursday, April 7 from 4-8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Road, Royal Oak, MI. The Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, April 8, 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Parish, 4580 Adams Road, Troy, MI.
