Marjorie Stanger

Marjorie A. Stanger, age 85, a resident of Royal Oak since 1933, died March 12, 2013 at her home. She was born July 17, 1927 in Detroit to the late Robert and Margaret Parsons. Mrs. Stanger was employed with the Royal Oak School District as a secretary for several elementary schools. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Woman's Club, Royal Oak Woman's Club, the Circle and Presbies at the First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak. She was on the board of directors and treasurer for many years at the Fairways Condos in Royal Oak. She was a volunteer at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and West Branch Regional Medical Center. She was also an avid golfer. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Stanger of Waterford and Susan Ryniak of Algonac; grandchildren, Haley Taminski and Adam Ryniak; and great grandchildren, Zoie Ryniak and Jacob Taminski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman "Jack" Stanger, on November 21, 1997; and sister, Patricia Connell. A memorial service to be held at a later date. Arrangements by Wm.
