Marion Harshman

Marion C. Harshman, age 89, a resident of Lathrup Village since 1952, died February 24, 2011 at Farmington Health Care Center. She was born February 23, 1922 in Rock Port, MO. Mrs. Harshman worked at Kopy Katz Beauty Salon in Berkley for more than 12 years, and prior to that at Guaranty Beauty Shop in Berkley. She loved to roller skate. She is survived by her husband, Donald L. Harshman, the couple married in November 1940; children, Don Pat Harshman, Jon Harshman, Ed Merry Harshman and Candace Dan Wilkerson; brother, Jack Bobbie Winans; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. The visitation will be Saturday 2-8 p.m. and service Sunday 2 p.m., with the Rev. Dale Hunter officiating, at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The burial will take place at Grand Lawn Cemetery in Detroit.
