Marie Graczyk

Marie Graczyk, age 89, a resident of Royal Oak, died January 21, 2013 in Holly. She was born May 21, 1923 in Boma, TN. Mrs. Graczyk lived in Royal Oak since the early 1980's. She worked at Farmcrest Bakery in Detroit for 30 years. She also was a Rosie the Riveter during World War II at the McCord Corp. and Allied Corp. She is survived by her children, Tommy Della Jones of Waterford Township, Susan Rivard of Royal Oak and Jeffrey Graczyk of Royal Oak; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin M. Graczyk, in 2008; son, Donald Graczyk; and siblings, Sam Dorman Whitehead, Nell Burton and Mary Bleau. The visitation will be Sunday 2 p.m. until the time of the service 4 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev.
