Marian Janecek Morrow, age 98, of Troy, formerly of Royal Oak, died October 29, 2012. She was born January 25, 1914 in Detroit to the late Louis J. and Matilda Kratz Janecek. Mrs. Morrow graduated Saint Mary's Academy Monroe in 1931; Mary Grove College in 1935; and received her teaching certificate from Wayne State University in 1936. She taught music in the Detroit Public Schools and was a member of the National Shrine of the Little Flower for 63 years. She was the beloved wife of the late John J.; loving mother of Marianne, John James Jr. Sandra, W. Kevin Renee, Robert T. the late Janet, Stephen J. Kathy and Mary Beth Mark Cycholl; proud grandmother of Sarah Morrow Riopelle, David Morrow, Stephen Morrow, Tricia Morrow Groustra, Katie Morrow Warren, Liz Cycholl LaLone, Erin Cycholl Springer, Patrick Morrow, Matthew Morrow, Allie Morrow DeBaere, Daniel Cycholl and John Morrow; and great grandmother of 14. She was predeceased by her siblings, Louis Betty and late wife Marge Janecek, Corinne Jack O'Brien, Dr. William Edna Janecek and Margaret William Dooley. Mrs. Morrow will lie in state Friday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
