Maria Malandrucco

Maria Louise Malandrucco, age 73, a resident of Warren for more than 47 years, passed away July 5, 2014 at Georgian Bloomfield - Heartland Nursing Center, Bloomfield Hills. She was born December 6, 1940 in Sestola, Italy to the late Dante and Armida Ferrari. Mrs. Malandrucco was a homemaker. She loved to cook, loved her family, but most of all she loved to spend time going to her grandchildren's sporting events. She was the beloved wife of Antonio "Tony" whom she married on August 4, 1962 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Detroit; loving mother of Denise Gary Ray and Christina Louis Nader; dear sister of Romano Norma Ferrari; proud grandmother of Nathan Ray, Spencer Ray, Claire Nader, Isabel Ray, Louie Nader, Alex Nader and Audrey Ray. The visitation will be Monday 2-8:30 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mrs. Malandrucco will lie in state Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass 10 a.m. at National Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church, Royal Oak.
