STEINKOPF, Margaret E. age 90, of Fair Haven, died Sunday, January 22, 2006, in Richmond, Michigan. She was born November 9, 1915, in Commerce, Michigan. She married L. Earl Steinkopf on September 23, 1932, in Trinity Lutheran Church in Utica. She enjoyed traveling, writing letters, cooking, ceramics, photographs, embroidery, flower gardens, and her cat, Minnie. Mrs. Steinkopf was a truck gardener who worked the truck along with her husband until 1973. She is survived by her daughters, Beryl Skamiera, Sylvia Plutter Daniels, Joanne Holmstrum, and Eileen Tom Kapalka; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, L. Earl Steinkopf March 16, 1987, brothers, John and Marcellus Noodel, and her sister, Laura Hoerler. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 from 1:00pm to 9:00pm with her funeral service being held at 7:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blks east of VanDyke on the northside of Hall Road/M-59 Utica; with Pastor Robert Wagner of St. Peter Lutheran Church, officiating.
