Passed away on Thursday October 23, 2008 at Evangelical Nursing Home-Hospice Wing. She was born on October 15, 1928 in Pitgas, Pennsylvania.Mrs. Schubert lived most of her life in the Detroit area initially a stay at home mother raising her children then went to work as an assistant to Darryl Hackett Attorney at Law in his Warren office for many years then relocating to Arizona where she owned a travel agency -Abbey Travel in Apache Junction, AZ for 10 years.
She is survived by her children Donald Lee Jean Fubry Jr., Richard Debbie Furby, Todd Marcia Furby, Jean David Holt, Judi Richard Grady and William Amanda Litwaitis.
Proud Grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren
She was predeceased by her husband -Donald Lee Furby and grandchildren- Arthur Lee Furby and Jennifer Minor
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Monday, October 27, 2008 7:30pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Rd. 3 Blks. E. of Van Dyke Utica with Rev. William Lawrence, officiating.
Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery , Detroit, MI
A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place on Monday, October 27, 2008 from 2pm to 9pm at the funeral home.
