Margaret Baxter

Margaret M. Baxter, age 97, a resident of Royal Oak since 1970, died October 24, 2009 in Clawson. She was born August 28, 1912 in Beaverton, Ontario, Canada. Mrs. Baxter was formerly employed by Douglas Cleaners of Birmingham. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church in Beverly Hills. She is survived by her children, Ronald J. Baxter, Barbara M. Baxter and Melba R. Daniel J. Caffrey; grandchildren, Steven Baxter, Michael Baxter and Tracey Watters; and great grandchildren, Ashleigh Baxter and Ryan Baxter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Baxter, on April 6, 1994; and her son, Robert Baxter. The visitation will be held Tuesday 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mrs. Baxter will lie in state Wednesday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church in Beverly Hills, with Fr. Scott Thibodeau officiating.
