M. Arlyn Tuttle, age 81, a 60-year resident of Royal Oak, died November 1, 2009 at Odyssey Hospice in Southfield. She was born May 22, 1928 in Rockland, MI. Ms. Tuttle was retired from the Chrysler Corporation and a member of the Chryslerette Women's Club. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak and sang in the choir for 51 years. She also belonged to the Birmingham Musicale and the Oakland Choral Society. She is survived by her sisters, Beatrice Edgar Falkner of Brentwood, MO and F. Janet Fredrikson of Lapeer; and seven nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held Wednesday 3-8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Ms. Tuttle will lie in state Thursday 10 a.m. until the time of service 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Rice officiating.
