M. Boschma

M. Louise Boschma, age 91, a resident of Southfield for 36 years, formerly of Berkley for 25 years and Royal Oak for 26 years, died March 10, 2010 at Cambridge North Healthcare Center in Clawson. She was born April 28, 1918 in Vincennes, IN. Mrs. Boschma graduated from beauty school and worked at various hair salons in Berkley and Royal Oak. She also assisted with her husband's construction business. She will be sadly missed by her daughters and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Phillip Poole of Ferndale and Gail Lee Boschma of Royal Oak; brother, Raymond Anne Houck of Indiana; grandchildren, Steven Smith of California and Julia Paul Romancheck of Sterling Heights; and great granddaughter, Celeste Grace Romancheck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hessel Boschma, in 1998; the couple married in 1938 in Illinois; daughter, Sue Ann Boschma, in 1967; and brothers, Harold Houck and Donald Houck. The visitation will be Friday 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The service will be Saturday 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Chris Yaw officiating. The burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy.
