Lynn-Ellen Brennan

Lynn-Ellen Punky Brennan died July 14, 2007 at her home in Newcastle, Wyoming after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Punky was born March 22, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Harold and Mary Lorenz Cummings. She attended schools in rural Weston county, and Upton, Wyoming. Punky obtained her G.E.D. and schooling in business in Texas.
She married Perry Moore in Rapid City, South Dakota in 1962. From this union two children were born, Derek and Kerry Moore. Punky enjoyed raising her children into their teenage years. She loved to bake and cook for her family and everyone else. She was later divorced and remarried. Cooking was a passion she enjoyed throughout her life.
Punky managed several convenience stores and cooked at Mondell Heights in Newcastle. She worked for Decker?s in Newcastle for several years.
On April 28, 2001 she married Pat Brennan in Upton, Wyoming, and they resided in Newcastle until the time of her death.
Lynn-Ellen was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, her father, three former spouses, a step-brother, and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband Pat Brennan, mother Mary Gray, one sister Sharon Hieb, two brothers Buzz Cummings, Charlie Mavis Cummings, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held Friday July 20, 2007 at 10:00 am with a public viewing one hour before the service, at the Upton United Methodist Church in Upton, Wyoming with Pastor Joe Spencer officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery in Upton. Worden Funeral Directors will be in charge of arrangements.
The family asks that Memorials be given in Punky?s name for Treasured Memories Hospice and Palliative Care of Moorcroft and may be made through Worden Funeral Directors.
