Louise Heskin

Louise Heskin, age 86, a 53-year resident of Royal Oak, died July 5, 2009 at her home. She was born June 27, 1923 in Wilkinsburg, PA. Mrs. Heskin was an avid golfer and pinochle player. She also enjoyed Tiger baseball. She retired in 1986 from Halfman Elementary School in Madison Heights, where she worked as an administrative secretary. She is survived by her children, Kim Valentine of Royal Oak and Kathy Rick Oren of Plantation, FL; grandchildren, Jessica, Amy and Joseph Valentine, Keith and Kyle Oren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Heskin 2006 and Keith Spade 1967. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. In state Thursday 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Royal Oak, with the Rev. Steven Wertanen officiating.
