Lorraine Schroeder

Lorraine Schroeder, age 93, a resident of Sterling Heights, formerly of Berkley, died January 21, 2010 at the Medilodge of Sterling Heights. She was born October 15, 1916 in Detroit. Mrs. Schroeder was a longtime member of the Royal Oak Elks Wapitis Lodge #1523. She enjoyed golfing and bowling. She is survived by her children, David Jeanette Schroeder, Charles Elvie Schroeder and Larry Mary Schroeder; sister, Florence Collins; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Schroeder, on September 11, 2003. The visitation will be Sunday 2-8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. A Royal Oak Elks Wapiti Forget-Me-Not service, under the auspices of Lodge #1523, will also be held on Sunday 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Schroeder will lie in state Monday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak.
