Loretta Mastracci

Loretta "Laura" Mastracci, age 83, of North Port, FL, died November 24, 2008. She was born February 25, 1925, in Penowa, PA, the daughter of Joe and Amelia Ioveniti Pietrangeli. She moved to Florida in 1990 from Berkley, MI. She was a 1941 graduate of Chadsey High School in Detroit, MI. She worked as a secretary in a legal office prior to becoming a fulltime housewife and mother most of her life. She is a lifetime member of the LaCasa Grandmothers Club in North Port, FL and a member of the San Pedro Catholic Church. Mrs. Mastracci is survived by her spouse of 62 years, Frank Mastracci; sons, Michael Ivonne Mastracci of Troy, MI and Mark Laura Mastracci of Berkley, MI; daughter, Dr. Marcia Tom Ditmyer of Royal Oak, MI; sister, Henrietta Pietrangeli of New Port Richey, FL; four grandchildren, Nina Nick Kolbe, Michael Mastracci, Tim Holly Toggweiler and Brian Julie Toggweiler; and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, MI. Mrs. Mastracci will lie in state Saturday at 10:30 a.m. until the time of mass 11 a.m. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church, Berkley, MI.
