Loretta Anderson

Loretta F. Anderson, age 79, of Royal Oak, died January 14, 2009 at her home. She was born July 8, 1929 in Detroit. Mrs. Anderson made her home in Royal Oak for approximately 50 years. She retired from Kmart Corp. She enjoyed friends and playing cards at the Madison Heights and Royal Oak Senior Centers. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert E. Anderson, whom she married on May 19, 1960 in Detroit; children, Darren Anderson of Madison Heights, Ardene Gregg Jones of Royal Oak, Gail Nowicki of Clawson and Sharon Scott Maglott of Livonia; twin sister, Lorraine Drogosch of St. Clair Shores; and grandchildren, Jamie, Brandon and Nolan Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna Drogosch. Visitation will be Friday 5-9 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road, Royal Oak. Mrs. Anderson will lie in state Saturday 10:30 a.m. until the time of mass 11 a.m. at St. Felix Catholic Church in Kinde. The Rev. John Weis will officiate.
