Lorado Wines

Lorado "Loretta" Priscilla Wines, age 85, a resident of Royal Oak, died March 12, 2010 in West Bloomfield. She was born March 1, 1925 in Logan, WV. Mrs. Wines lived in Detroit, St. Clair Shores and Kalamazoo prior to moving to Royal Oak in 1970. She is survived by her stepson, George A. Maria Wines; siblings, Shirley Barnette, Gary Barnette and Wallace Barnette; grandchildren, Tasha Johnson, Chadd W. Herron and George N. Wines; great grandson, Michael George Fotais; and dear friends, Linda, Lisa and Lynn Good, Jane McKay and Jan King. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Wines, in November 2007; and her son, Larry L. Herron. The visitation will be Sunday 2-7 p.m. with a 4 p.m. vigil service at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The service will be Monday 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Christ officiating. The burial will take place at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
