Lisa Roybal

Lisa Marie Roybal, age 41, a lifetime resident of Berkley, died Saturday, November 1, 2008, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born August 9, 1967, in Royal Oak. Mrs. Roybal worked as a finance manager at DeWitt Building Co. in Southfield for the past nine years. A 1986 graduate of Berkley High School, she was involved in the Berkley Mom's Club softball team. She loved golfing, camping, traveling and relaxing around the pool in the backyard. Surviving are her husband, Robert A. Roybal, whom she wed May 3, 1986, in Royal Oak; children, Laura Marie Roybal, Jessica Lynn Roybal and Robert Anthony Roybal Jr., all of Berkley; mother, Betty F. Wood of Berkley; brothers, Daniel Amber Wood Jr. of New Haven, Scott Muriel Wood of Macomb Township and David Wood of Berkley; and father-in-law, Anthony J. Roybal of Fremont, CA. She was predeceased by her father, Daniel P. Wood Sr. and mother-in-law, Angela Mendoza. Visitation Tuesday 2 - 8:00 pm with service Wednesday 1:00 pm at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Burial will be at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley.
