Linda Templeman

Linda Templeman, 75, of Newcastle, Wyoming passed away on November 28, 2023, in Rapid City, South Dakota from complications from a fall.  She was born in Sundance, Wyoming on March 5, 1948, to Joseph and Alberta Hando.  Linda had two brothers and one sister.  Around middle school she moved to Big Piney, Wyoming.  She graduated from Newcastle High School and attended Wright Beauty Academy in Cheyenne.  While attending beauty school, she was set up on a blind date.  The date was a success, and she was able to spend the rest of her life with her true love.  Linda loved to crochet and make things for other people.  She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything. 

Linda is survived by the love of her life, Ray.  She is also survived by her daughter Kim (Chris) Caylor from Cheyenne, Kelly Hearn from Rapid City, SD, and Kody (Dana) Templeman from Denver, CO.  She is survived by her grandchildren Hannah (Josh) Sloan, Hailey Hearn (Eric Boal), Emily Hearn (Max Herrington), Ty Bock and Aby Bock (Alex Schuessler), as well as her great grandchildren Elias and Adrian Schuessler, her mother Alberta Hando, sister-in-law Marg, Richard (Dana) Hando, Peggy Laurence, step-son Todd (Carol) Templeman, many close friends, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her father Joe, brother Ron and her two Yorkshire Terriers, Casey and Walter. 

A memorial service in her honor will be held on December 8, 2023, at 2pm at Meridian Mortuary.  Norm Brotzman will officiate.
