Linda Elaine Lewis, aged 64, of Newcastle, Wyoming, passed into eternal rest on February 8, 2024. Born on October 10, 1959, in Canton, SD, to the late Grace and Henry Olson, Linda lived a life marked by unwavering dedication to her family, a profound intellectual curiosity, and a deep patriotism.
Known for her kind and compassionate spirit, Linda cherished the simple joys of life, such as preparing meals that brought her family together around the table. Her culinary endeavors were more than a hobby; they were an expression of love, a tradition she held dear. Linda was also a woman of intellect, who found pleasure in the challenge of puzzles and the pursuit of knowledge. Her love for reading was insatiable, and her ability to engage in thoughtful dialogue on a myriad of subjects was admired by all who knew her.
Linda's passion for understanding extended into the realm of politics, where she self-educated on the intricacies of government and relished in the spirited exchange of political debates. It was this same fervor that fueled her love of travel, a dream she realized by visiting all 50 states, and thereby, knitting a tapestry of experiences that spanned the vastness of our nation.
Above all, Linda's life was a testament to the enduring power of love. She faced her two-year battle with cancer with the same strength and resolve that she lived her life, leaving behind a legacy of courage and grace.
