Lillian Caldwell

Lillian Gladys Caldwell, age 82, a 56-year resident of Royal Oak, died February 15, 2010 at the Sanctuary at Alexander in Royal Oak. She was born July 25, 1927 in Royal Oak Township. Mrs. Caldwell retired in 1989 from Foamade Industries in Pontiac. She was a member of the F.O.E. Aerie #2092 in Royal Oak and the VFW Auxiliary Post #1669 in Royal Oak. She is survived by her children, Cathy Samuel Oliver of Madison Heights, David Cheryl Caldwell of Pasco, WA and James Pamela Caldwell of Cocoa, FL; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Caldwell, in September 1990; and sister, Mary Helene Stephenson. The visitation will be Thursday 2-8 p.m. and service Friday 11 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Paul Gateman officiating. The burial will take place at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley.
