Leslie Tenke

A celebration of life for Les Tenke, 68, was held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 22nd at Worden Chapel with Pastor Mick Bohn officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. The family has asked that memorial contributions be given in the name of Les Tenke to the Weston County Humane Society or the local animal shelter.
Mr. Tenke died Tuesday, August 18th at his ranch south of Sundance.
Les was born December 17, 1940 the son of John and Wilma Toth Tenke near Sundance, Wyoming. He graduated from Spearfish SD High School and worked for the Wyoming State Highway Department until retiring to his ranch. Les?s kind heart and love for animals was known by many. His canine friend Seedy never left his side. Les was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed four-wheeling, snowmobiling and hunting.
He is survived by two daughters, Sheila Tenke and Sherri Tongco both of Atlanta, GA; Sherri?s husband Gary and their two children Caitlin and Ashton.
