Lawrence Jones

Lawrence W. Jones, age 94, a longtime resident of Berkley and recently of River Falls, WI, died July 31, 2009. He was born May 2, 1915 in Pulaski, KY. Mr. Jones served the community of Berkley for over forty years and retired from the Sealtest Corporation in 1979. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy David Peters; grandchildren, Matthew Cyndi Peters; Mark Laura Peters and Jennifer Christopher Larsen; great grandchildren, Bryce, Elise, Mackenzie, Courtney and Jack; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Trivett Jones in 1995. Visitation will be Thursday 6 p.m. until the time of service 7 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Dan Gonzales officiating. A private burial will take place at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley.
