Larry Eakins

Larry G. Eakins, age 62, a resident of Royal Oak, died April 22, 2012 at John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit. He was born November 17, 1949 in Detroit to the late William and Evelyn Eakins. Mr. Eakins was a longtime business owner of Larry's Plumbing and Heating in Royal Oak. He was also a member of the American Legion in Royal Oak. He is survived by his children, Kali Paul Mason and Louis Eakins; sisters, Glenda Percy Mullins and Janice Glasson; and grandchildren, Parker and Reagan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Eakins. There will be a committal service with military honors on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
