Larry Daley

Larry H. Daley, age 67, a lifelong resident of Royal Oak, died August 10, 2009 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born February 26, 1942 in Pontiac. Mr. Daley was retired from Fontana Foods, which used to be located in Highland Park. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #337 and Sons of the American Legion SAL of Royal Oak. In his leisure time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. He is survived by his wife, Doris Daley, whom he married on September 23, 1961 in Royal Oak; children, Terry Lisa Daley of Sterling Heights and Cary Lynette Daley of Ferndale; sister, Tina Kolodziej; and grandchildren, Amanda, Brian, Travis, Jonnea and Evelyn. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Daley. Visitation will be Thursday 2-8 p.m. and the service Friday 1 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Dale Hunter officiating. The burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
