Kevin DeLee Hudson Corley, 56, of Oak Park, Michigan was called to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, July 11, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 28, 1954 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of Frank L. Hudson and Wilma Marie Chapman Hudson. Survivors include her loving daughters, Candice Corley-Calderon and husband Adrian of Hazel Park, MI and Nicole Corley of Grand Rapids, MI; granddaughter, Pearl Nicole Corley-Calderon; dear sister, Algene Williams and husband Bill of Casey, IL; brothers, Ron Hudson and wife Donna of Casey, IL; Larry Hudson and wife Betty of Moweaqua, IL; Gary Hudson of Casey, IL; Delbert Hudson and wife Ann of Villa Grove, IL and twin brother, Tony Kent Hudson of Rio Medina, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents. Kevin was a 1972 graduate of Casey Westfield High School where she was active in music and drama. She studied music at Greenville College, Greenville, IL. She used her melodious voice singing with the Spurlows and Lowell Lundstrom Ministries and other vocal concerts. Kevin's love for music included being a music teacher for the Southfield Christian Schools for ten years. She enjoyed sewing, taking pictures, cooking gluten free foods and her grandbaby. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, MI. Kevin will lie in state Wednesday 10 a.m. until the time of the service 11 a.m. at the Highland Park Baptist Church, 28600 Lahser Road, Southfield, MI 48034.
