Graveside services for Newcastle native, Kennith A. Henderson, 91, will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, February 6th at Greenwood Cemetery in Newcastle with Pastor Bill Haley officiating. The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Worden Funeral Directors are in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Henderson died Saturday, February 3rd at Weston County Health Services in Newcastle.
Ken was born May 13, 1915 in Newcastle, Wyoming the son of John and Lucille D. Andrews Henderson. He was a graduate of Newcastle High School and served in the U. S. Army. He was employed as a carpenter in southern California for over fifty years. He was also employed by the Lockheed Airplane Company
He was a member of the Carpenter?s Union for over fifty years.
Kennith was a quiet and private man. He was also kind and thoughtful and entertaining to talk to and was active and alert up to the end of his life.
Surviving him are his sister, Virginia Lynn of Newcastle; and his nieces and nephews Jim Teena Lynn of Edgemont, SD, Barbara Max Weekly of Idaho, Nancy Calvin Cutler of Casper, WY, Pat Les Redel of Idaho; Jan Bob Hauf of Sheridan, WY; John Henderson of Lander, WY; Alan Henderson of Oregon; and Walter Henderson of Arizona.
