Kenneth Galler

GALLER, Kenneth E., age 70, of Caseville, Michigan; formerly of Sterling Heights, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at his home. He was born April 22, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Michael and Mary nee Seidel Galler. He graduated from Cody High School in 1957. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1960. On May 19, 1962 he married Janet Pentecost, in Detroit, Michigan. After marrying they moved to Sterling Heights to raise their family. He worked in tool and die sales in the Detroit area. In 2005 he moved permanently to Caseville. He was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and 4th Degree, Caseville Eagles, Winsor Masonic Lodge, Moslem Shrine, and Scenic Country Club. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and the outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jan; daughters, Janice John Finkele of Macomb Township, Debra Alex Cagigal of Rochester Hills, Deane Dennis Spencer of Bruce Township, Cynthia David Livingway of Lake Orion, Keri Michael Bonucchi of Sterling Heights, and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Gerald and grandson Ty Finkele. A funeral mass will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16th at St. Roch Catholic Church, in Caseville with Father Robert Pare presiding. Military honors will be presented by the Caseville American Legion. Visitation will be Friday 3:00pm-8:00pm with a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 7:00pm at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville and one hour prior to the mass at church on Saturday. In addition, there will be visitation 2:00pm-8:00pm with a 7:00pm Masonic Service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blks east of VanDyke Utica. Memorials may be made to the family.
