Kathleen "Kay" Sidick, age 96, a 58-year resident of Royal Oak, died September 22, 2009 at her home. She was born March 2, 1913 in Algonac. Mrs. Sidick was formerly of Algonac, and as a child enjoyed swimming across to Harson's Island and taking the ferry back. She is survived by her children, Betty Andrew Sebolka of Royal Oak and Donna Meldrum of Berkley; stepson, Charles Lillian Sidick of Roseville; brother, Glenn Soulier of California; grandson, Randy Joy Brown; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Sidick 1998 and Donald Meldrum 1955; and stepsons, Jack Sidick and Jim Sidick. The memorial visitation will be Monday, October 19, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial mass at 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak.
