Karen Lynch

November 5, 1942 — October 28, 2009

Funeral services for Karen Lynch, 66, will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 3rd at First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Hopper officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery under direction of Worden Funeral Directors of Newcastle. Visitation will be Monday, November 2nd from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Worden Chapel. The family prefers memorial contributions to Weston County Health Services, First United Methodist Church or Christ The King Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Lynch died Wednesday, October 28th at Weston County Heatlh Services.

Karen was born November 5, 1942 at Deadwood, South Dakota the daughter of Elmer and Louise Wight Maki. Her family moved to Casper, Wyoming where she attended grade school and high school.

On June 10, 1961, she married Patt Lynch. The couple made their home on the Lynch ranch until Patt enlisted in the U. S. Army. The couple lived at Fort Knox, Kentucky and later in Fulda Germany for eighteen months. Her son Troy was born in January, 1964 in Frankfort, Germany. In April of 1964, the family returned to the ranch where Patt and Karen still reside.

Karen enjoyed bowling and traveled to several tournaments throughout the United States. Karen loved her family, flower gardens, fishing and watching football. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband Patt; son Troy and wife Janeice of Casper, grandsons Tyler and Travis; mother Louise Maki of Newcastle; sister Joyce and brother in law Marvin Adami of Billings, MT; several nieces and one nephew.

Preceding her in death was her father.
