Judith Crane

Judith J. Crane, age 71, of Royal Oak, died March 16, 2013. She was born July 17, 1941 in Oil City, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Crane retired from the W. Bloomfield School District in 2001. Surviving are her daughters, Kristen Crane of Southfield and Stephanie Crane of Berkley; step-daughter, Betty Marie Leonard of Northridge, CA; four grandsons, James and Aaron McClain of Southfield, Justin and Joshua Harlan of Berkley; granddaughter, Shawn Leonard of Northridge, CA; three sisters, Dr. Margaret Jetter of Oil City, PA, Jayne Larry Overmyer of Kewanna, IN and Martha Marsh of Rochester; one brother, Charles Jetter of Rockport, TN; and two nieces, Gloria Jetter and Laura Patrick Christian, both of Brooklyn, NY. Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jetter of Oil City, PA; and her husband of 24 years, Gerald Crane. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home at 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. in Royal Oak. Friends may come starting at 6 p.m. Following the memorial service, please join the family to share memories at Jimi's Coney Island at 714 S. Washington St. in Royal Oak. A memorial mass at the National Shrine of the Little Flower will be held at a later date in April.
