Joyce, born in Ashland Wisconsin, was raised in the small fishing village of Bayfield, Wisconsin. Preceded in death by parents Eli and Judith Hendrickson. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Earl Woods. Loving mother of Denise David Woods DiBiase, the late David Woods, and Rebecca Woods. Dear sister of Fred Joan Hendrickson of Duluth, MN and Esther Hidy of Hayward, CA. Proud grandmother of Katherine DiBiase, Jonathan and Jacob Swanson, Cory and Toby Woods, and great grandmother of Candice Woods. Joyce was a registered nurse at Beaumont Hospital and Home Health Care. Joyce attended Augsburg College, received a RN diploma from St. Luke's Nursing School, Duluth, MN and a BSN from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. Joyce was a long time member of Christ Memorial Presbyterian, Royal Oak, and Greenfield Presbyterian Church, Berkley. While residing in Dublin, she attended Indian Run United Methodist Church. Visitation Monday 3-8 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward. Committal service Tuesday 11:30 a.m. at Oakview Cemetery followed by a Memorial Service at Greenfield Presbyterian Church in Berkley. Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service 1 p.m. Memorials to Alzheimer's Association or Greenfield Presbyterian Church appreciated.
