Loving partner of Robin VandenBerg for 27 years. Dear mother of Erica Syed Ahmed. Beloved daughter of Donna and the late Bill Eagling. Sister of Bill Shelly Eagling and Jim Michaela Eagling. Joyce was a retired police officer who served the city of Royal Oak for 21 years, with 29 years of total service. An avid golfer, she also found time to coach women's "over 50" softball teams. She will also be greatly missed by her golden retriever, Cosmo. Memorial visitation Wednesday from 2-9 pm with a 7 pm prayer service at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Memorial Mass Thursday 10 am at National Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak, family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 am.
