Age 77, a resident of Macomb Township and formerly of Warren, passed, away on Saturday, May 4, 2013.
He was born February 16, 1936 in Highland Park, Michigan. Mr. Witherspoon spent a lifetime learning and educating others in the field of respiratory therapy and home health care. He was a US Navy Veteran and member of the VFW Post 253. Beloved husband of Barbara nee Dalling for 55 years.
Loving Father of Joseph Leanne, Michael Martha, Mark Cheryl, LeeAnn Ernest Brinkel, Karen Brad Glutting, and David Kim. Proud Grandfather of Barbara, Beth, Mitchell, Mackenzie, Robbie, Kyle, Ryan, Eddie, Morgan, Emilie, Daniel and Lindsay. Great-grandfather of Reese. Predeceased by his parents, Maggie Elizabeth and Charles Guthrie Witherspoon. Visitation at the Wm Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 Blks E. of Van Dyke Utica, Monday 2-8pm.
Funeral Service Tuesday 11am at the funeral home.
Interment White Chapel Memorial Cemetery.
