Joseph B. Kay, age 91, a resident of East Lansing for the last six months, formerly of Stuart, FL for more than 30 years, died September 18, 2013 at The Marquette in East Lansing. He was born January 19, 1922 in Detroit to the late Robert M. Jr. and Mae Kay. Mr. Kay was a World War II Army veteran. He owned and operated Romich Corporation for 49 years. He also was an avid golfer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Kay; the couple married August 6, 1946 in Glendale, OH; children, Joseph Kay and Patricia DuLong; grandchildren, Aidan, Rhys, Saira Jo, Brandon and Ryan; and great grandchildren, Laine and Grayson. There will be memorial visitation Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial Mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak, with his nephew, Rev. James R. Rafferty officiating. A committal service with military honors will follow at 1 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Arrangements by Wm.
