Charlton, Joseph L. June 22, 2011, age 77 of Utica, Michigan. Mr. Charlton worked for Chrysler Corporation and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Utica United Methodist Church. Beloved husband of Ruth. Dear father of Lynn Todd Bettes, Gordon Jean Charlton, Corrine Clint DeShais, Teri Jeff Gibbons and Steve Rachel Charlton. Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents John & Treva Charlton. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at Utica United Methodist Church, 8650 Canal Rd., Sterling Heights, MI.
