John Prost

John J. Prost, age 71, a resident of Royal Oak, died September 8, 2013 at his home. He was born November 12, 1941 in Germany to the late Ferdinand and Clara Prost. Mr. Prost was the owner of the Virginia Apartments in Royal Oak for the past 35 years. He also was a retired school teacher from Kimball High School in Royal Oak. He was a member of the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce and also a member of D.O.L.L.A.R.S. He is survived by his children, Brian Julie Prost of Newport Beach, CA, Jennifer Richeson of Ferndale, Stacy Chris Locher of Clarkston and Rikki Gian Carlo Puzzuoli of Beverly Hills; nine grandchildren; and dear partner, Susan K. Prost. There will be a memorial visitation Friday 9 a.m. until the time of the memorial service 10 a.m. at the Unity Church of Royal Oak, 2500 Crooks Road.
