John Morrison

John A. Morrison, age 65, a 23-year resident of Eastpointe, died Wednesday, October 5, 2005; at his residence. He was born December 10, 1939, in Detroit. Mr. Morrison taught at Algonac High School and East Detroit High School. He was a member of St. Andrews Society of Detroit and coached softball and football at Lutheran High East, Algonac High School and East Detroit High School. He married his wife Nancy J. Pasternacki on May 28, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Nancy J. Morrison; children, Catherine Craig West of Roseville, Doreen Morrison of Roseville, and John Ami Morrison of Clinton Township; grandchildren, Alexis and Ian. Also several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Friday at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blocks east of VanDyke Utica, with the Reverend Robert J. Perdue from Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church, Warren, officiating. Burial will take place in Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Rochester Hills, Michigan. Visitation is Thursday, October 6th from 2:00pm-9:00pm.
