John Krautner

John Krautner, age 85, a resident of Royal Oak since 1955, died March 24, 2009 at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital. He was born March 14, 1924 in Bosch, Romania. He is survived by his wife, Anna Krautner, whom he married July 26, 1951 in Austria; children, Irene Mandell Bookman of Owosso and Joanne Ram Gunabalan of Clarkston; and grandchildren, Adam Bookman, Ross Bookman, Reed Fielstra, Bradley Gunabalan and Ryan Gunabalan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday 2 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Royal Oak, with the Rev. Thomas A. Scherger officiating. Memorials to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 814 N.
