SCHMIDT, JoAnn A. age 76, died August 3, 2011 in Armada, Michigan. She was born October 20, 1934 in Utica, Michigan to the late Anthony and Harriet nee O'Bryan Thomas. She is survived by her loving children: Carol Dale Hankey and George Schmidt. Proud Grandmother of Ryan. Beloved sister of George Nancy Thomas and Sister Frances Schroeder. Preceeded in death by her late husband Harold Schmidt. Visitation will be Thursday 4:00pm -9:00pm and Friday 2:00pm - 9:00pm at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blks east of Van Dyke Utica. Saturday in state at 9:30am until time of funeral service at 10:30am at Grace Lutheran Fellowship Church, 7525 32 Mile Road, Romeo, MI. Interment at Cadillac East Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Clinton Township, MI. Memorials appreciated to Grace Lutheran Fellowship Church.
