WALEN, Joan D. age 78, resident of Shelby Township, died Thursday, September 16, 2010. She was born July 21, 1932 to Charles and Stella Walenowski. She worked for Michigan Bell Telephone Co. She was active in civic groups including: her local library, senior center, and travel groups. Saturday, September 25th memorial visitation will be held at 12 Noon until time of her Memorial Service at 1:00pm at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blks east of Van Dyke Utica.
