Jim Smedley

Smedley, Jim, age 65, died June 1, 2009 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born July 24, 1943 in Detroit. Jim was a retired Vice President of Engineering for the Textron Marine & Land Systems, Inc. Jim chose early retirement to spend more time with the love of his life and soul mate of 44 wonderful years, Ann Shields. They cherished their time together antiquing, collecting stamps and just spending every moment together. Jim was a loving father of James Melissa and Ronald Theresa. He was also a beloved grandfather of Samantha, Andrew, Ronald Jr., James, Dillon and Mia. Jim was also survived by his brother Ronald. Arrangements by Wm.
