Jeffrey Kern

Jeffrey A. Kern, age 49, a resident of Troy for the past six years, formerly of Madison Heights, died November 22, 2011 at his home. He was born May 4, 1962 in Detroit. Mr. Kern worked in the robotics field and was a master painter. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, golfing, hunting and restoring classic cars. He loved to fix things. He is survived by his children, Nicole M. Kern Justin Bender of Waterford and Jeffrey M. Kern of Waterford; grandson, Ryan Lowery; mother, Dolores J. Margulski; sister, Corinne Phil Gazda of White Lake; nieces and nephews, Scott Kristen Gazda, Stephanie Gazda, John Brenda Feldman III and Jessica Harter. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Margulski; and sister, Heather Kern. There will be memorial visitation Sunday, December 11th, 10:30 a.m. until the time of memorial service 1 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks.
